With the news yesterday that the brilliant Arnaud Donckele has been named as Raymond’s successor at Le Manoir, it felt like the right moment to pause and thank RB for a truly magical four decades.
Over the years, we’ve been privileged to share some truly unforgettable moments with Raymond, hosting multiple full-venue buyout experiences at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, A Belmond Hotel that our clients still talk about with awe and admiration. Every time, the same warmth, the same care, the same quiet brilliance. I can always feel how deeply he believes in hospitality - not as theatre, but as generosity.
Le Manoir has never been just a restaurant. It’s a place that stays with you. And that’s Raymond.
As it moves into its next chapter, it feels right to simply say thank you.
